A Romantic Mush

Last night I went on a date with the artist. Well, I say date but it turned into a massive drinking session, going to the Three and Ten, Valentino, Dr Brighton's, Nordic Lights and Tom's Bar. Clearly I was very very drunk by the end of it. Actually, I can't remember much after we got to Tom's Bar so I fear I may have been quite embarrassingly drunk.

Still though, the artist was really sweet and I don't think he minded, hopefully. It was a really good night, and ended with me staying over in his house. Well, considering my state, that was probably for the best as I don't think I would have made it home. I did take quite a lot of painkillers before I went out as I had a bit of a cold, maybe that's why. Anyway, I didn't sleep with him and it wasn't weird or awkward at all, quite sweet really.

Around noon we both left the house, he went to buy food and I think I was still drunk. Stumbling down Edward Street I was condemning the hot weather as I still had to wear my sleeves from the night before. I did manage to get home, have a nap and sober up, after which I have been suffering from the worst hangover ever. The artist have however been texting me all day, I think I may very well develop a man crush on him (or 'mush' as some might say). In the end, it was a good time - he was a really nice break from all the non-romantic weirdos I have been dating, not sleeping with, and stalked by recently. And, I also got rid of my cold.

Good for you; hopefully he'll turn out to be lovely & not a Brighton arty flake (as some are)

Keep us updated...
