Last night I went out with my housemates to a random cheap night out in the Revenge-club in Brighton. A night that was meant to be an approachable drunken night out to celebrate the end of term turned into something distinctively different. Whilst raving it up on the dance-floor with our gin-and-tonics and our vodka-and-lemonades, a fight broke out between two girls. Yes, I know the night is called 'girls-on-top', but surely that does not entail girls on top of each other on the dance floor. When we were in our drunken haze a fight broke out between these two girls on the dance-floor and consequently my friend got punched in the face because she just happened to be in the way. Now I know that people get punched in the face in clubs all the time, it's happened to the best of us. The reason why me and my friends left early that night was because not only did my friend get punched in the face by accident; the bouncers did not do anything in their power to kick out the people who were responsible.
When we managed to get one of the girls who was involved in the fight to come up to the bar with us, the managers at Revenge did not do anything about it, saying that 'because it was one of their regulars, they couldn't do anything about it'. Once we got home we phoned up the club to complain about the way they handled the incident, and their response was 'oh, were you the girl that got 3 bouncers out on the dance-floor when nothing had even happened.'. And we said that 'actually we just got one bouncer out on the dance-floor and the girls had already gone and there was nothing we could do about it'.
This was just quoted from the phone-call we just had with the managers of Revenge in Brighton. Clearly they don't care what happen to the customers that attend their club, and they don't seem to care about the customers that have been subjected to abuse when they phone up once they're home. Revenge is a club that we've been to several times, and the experiences from this night has seriously put us off for life, and I hope that you think the same. I'm sure that you've all been there, and it has always been a good hang-out for a cheap night out. However, when the people who are meant to look after your security fails, what do you have left? If something bad has happened to you, and the bouncers or the managers of the club don't even care, what is there left for us to do? If this was your club surely you'd be more concerned with your reputation! Fair enough if the girls who were involved got kicked out of the club; that would have been fine. But standing there when your friend is in agony and the managers and the bouncers don't even seem to care is just not good enough for the 21st century.

That is disgusting!
NO MORE REVENGE. Honestly! I really hope she's alright now and not in pain.
